Read the Reckoning War aftermath today and thought it was amazing. Any concerns you had about it sticking the landing seem unnecessary to me since I can't think of anything that wasn't satisfying or well written. I'd wish Mister Slott weren't leaving or Doom's characterization was still the one Bendis used, but those don't keep me from enjoying what I read. It did surprise me though that other than things that had to be undone (broken moon etc) there was so much that was left for the next writer to deal with. Hope they're up to curing Johnny, whatever changes Franklin made, and making Ben's kids even more awesome among the other little things.
This storyline is pure madness and inspired one of my favorite gags on our show. Discussing Matt Murdock, in the Mike Murdock getup, in the Daredevil suit, in a Thor costume with pink plastic "flesh". We tried to imagine what that would really look like. Thanks to comedy-writer, Seanbaby, this turducken of a costume is referred to as "Fat Garbage Thor".
