There are two ways that I personally can accept and enjoy murderous, machine-gun blazing "Let God Sort 'Em Out" type characters like the Punisher. The first is to show that they are a horrible, broken person that you would never want to be (this is what the Punisher stories I enjoy do) or make them straight up satirical a la Judge Dredd.
These newsletters are so good! So much knowledge and history poured into each one. I've learned a lot and I'm forever grateful to Chip Zdarsky for sending me this way. You aren't as funny as he is, but you certainly deliver on the value (and promise). Thanks for taking to the time to put these together and share so much with us!

Really enjoyed the Behind the Curtain section. Never knew that’s how coloring was done back in the day! Love learning more of the history.
I'm really enjoying these Newsletters and I really appreciate the insights from the past and present editorial shenanigans. Thanks for writing these!
